Lochbay Pinnacles
There are numerous good diving sites in and near Lochbay, offering shore diving, scenic and night diving. Close to the Dive Centre in a sheltered sea loch, The Lochbay Pinnacles assure bad weather diving even in winds of up to force 8+. The archipelago of islands and offshore skerries at the mouth of Lochbay offer numerous opportunities for quality diving in a variety of wind directions. It is a perfect base for your expedition!

DESCRIPTION
Lochbay Pinnacle is a submerged pinnacle that descends from a flat top at 8m vertically on two sides to 22m at the seabed, which can be circumnavigated in one dive. It’s many cracks and crevices are always a delight to explore with colour and species cloaking its faces. It is a fantastic dive for divers of all experience, ideal for novices, great with a camera, perfect in bad weather and acclaimed as an awesome ‘house dive’. Having dived it by day, and being only 10 mins from the dive centre, it makes an ideal night dive.
