WHAT DO WE OFFER?

An excellent shoreside dive centre in the historic fishing village of Stein, with accommodation, dive air, charter boat, mooring, launching, jetty, pub & restaurant, all in a very short walk!

Accommodation is provided ashore at the centre in fully modernised facilities providing for the needs of divers and offering modest comfort at a realistic price. Relax and unwind in the homely comfort of excellent self-catering accommodation which guarantees a comfortable start and end to your fantastic days diving. We offer modest comfort at a realistic price.

Sleeping 10 people, it offers everything you really need for an easy holiday. Self-catering allows flexibility in your diving schedule and the option to eat in or out. Divers find this affordable and ideal solution suits most club budgets and group structures. Warm, relaxing and private, the accommodation is flexible and all bedrooms and the living room have sea views, making dive planning easy. Sleeping in 3 rooms, provides for 10, in 1 x twin bunk rooms, 1 x six person bunk room, and new for 2023, 1 x double room, which accommodates most dive groups sleeping arrangements. New for 2023, all bedrooms are now accessed directly from the hall/firescape offering improved privacy in all rooms.

For parties of 12, the extra 2 are accommodated in a locally (included in the price) and they are welcome to use all other centre facilities with the group. If your trip is larger still and includes non-divers and families, we can recommend other self-catering accommodation in the immediate vicinity to assist in facilitating everyone in your trip.

For 2023, a contemporary open plan ground floor layout, creates an open space with dedicated kitchen enabling comfortable catering for 12, a more spacious and comfortable dining arrangement, now open through to the sitting room. Including everything other than the chief cook and bottle washer, all you need to bring is the food and a willing cook or rota!

The sitting room overlooks the decking and shore, biding you to unwind, as you relive your days diving as the sun sets. Perhaps you’ll simply ponder the embers of the glowing fire as you simply relax and succumb to the pace of island life over a wee dram, a favourite Hebridean pastimes.

Ample toilets and showers, provide instant hot water, essential for the post dive dash. The premises are fully central heated, double-glazed, with constant hot water, warm and comfortable. Prices include electric, hot water, central heating, and bedding (NO towels – sorry).

NEW FOR 2023

The premises have gone through further rennovation, working towards our ZeroWaste targets, achieving a reduction in Carbon emmissions, offering further privacy, in compliance with the revised Scottish Fire Legislation that came into force in 2022, and we are now preparing to submit an application to Highland Council for a Short Term Let Licencse as required by law, before the deadline of March 31st 2023.
